San Bernardino Injury Collision May Involve Drunk Driver
A possible DUI collision may have resulted in injuries to four people identified by officials as Maria Arzate, 39; Shannon Troy, 20; Jose Vaca, 48; and Rebecca Long, 26. The San Bernardino Sun reports that the accident occurred on Highway 395 near Bear Valley Road in Victorville the morning of May 23, 2010. Vaca crossed the center divide, going into opposing lanes of traffic and crashed head-on into a Toyota Camry.
A Good Samaritan pulled over and tried to help the accident victims. It was then, a 2002 Oldsmobile sport utility vehicle driven by Long hit him. All were seriously injured and transported to local hospitals. The involvement of alcohol is suspected.
