Two were killed and two were injured in a San Diego car accident, which officials say was caused by tire failure. The fatal SUV rollover crash occurred the evening of November 9, 2009 on the 15 Freeway, 10 news reports. Ramon Arciniega, 40, was driving a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer SUV north on the Freeway when the tread separated from the left rear tire. Arciniega lost control of the vehicle, which went off the right shoulder and down an embankment, rolling over and landing on his roof. Arciniega and another passenger identified as 52-year-old Evangelina Quiroz were taken to an area hospital with injuries. The two deceased victims have not yet been identified.
