Bayorgeon who was driving south in a Chrysler PT Cruiser drifted into the shoulder and struck 16-year-old girl and 17-year-old boy who were walking. The girl sustained severe injuries while the boy suffered minor injuries. Police arrested Bayorgeon on suspicion of driving under the influence causing injury.

Officials have arrested two women in connection with a deadly car accident in San Bernardino that killed 38-year-old Gary Marshall. The Victorville Daily Press reports that the hit-and-run crash occurred as Marshall was walking down Mojave Street in Hesperia early morning on October 4, 2011. He was struck by a vehicle near I Avenue. The vehicle left the scene of the crash. Marshall died from his injuries. That afternoon, officials arrested Megan Sofia Vasquez, 22, and 20-year-old Christin Nicole Briggs in connection with the incident. Both have been charged with felony hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter.
