A motorcyclist, who was fatally injured in a car accident in Los Angeles involving a suspected drunk driver, has been identified by officials as 25-year-old David Mack. The Los Angeles Daily News reports that the deadly crash happened at Seventh and Olive streets in Los Angeles the morning of November 21, 2011. Police say Mack was riding a motorcycle when a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Patrick Traylor turned in front of him at the intersection. Mack was pronounced dead at the scene. Traylor's passenger sustained head and facial injuries. Traylor was booked on suspicion of murder and driving under the influence.

A car accident in San Diego resulted in fatal injuries for a motorcyclist identified by officials as 49-year-old James Kelly Worley of Poway. 10News reports that the fatal motorcycle accident happened on the 5 Freeway in Camp Pendleton the morning of November 18, 2011. California Highway Patrol officials say the driver of a Nissan allowed the vehicle to drift into the path of Worley's Harley Davidson motorcycle and struck it. Worley died at the scene. Officials are still investigating what caused this tragic accident.

A car accident in Orange County resulted in serious injuries for a moped rider, the night of November 10, 2011. The Orange County Register reports that the injury collision happened at El Toro Road and 2nd Street in Lake Forest when the moped rider who was eastbound was struck by a Toyota 4Runner SUV that was making a left turn onto El Toro from 2nd Street. The moped rider sustained major injuries including several broken bones and internal injuries. The SUV's driver was not injured. Officials are investigating the cause of this crash.

The North County Times reports that the injury collision occurred in the city of Vista on Monte Vista Drive. Police say the motorcyclist was riding behind a Dodge Ram pickup truck, which stopped behind another vehicle that was about to make a left turn. The Desert Sun reports that the incident occurred at Cook Street and St. James Place in Palm Desert the afternoon of September 26, 2011. Romaine was northbound on the roadway when another car entered his lane. As he attempted to avoid the car, the officer struck a pickup truck driven b y 41-year-old Juan M. Chavez. Romaine was ejected from his motorcycle and sustained severe injuries including broken bones and a deflated lung. An investigation is ongoing.

A motorcyclist who was fatally injured in a car accident in San Bernardino has been identified by officials as 28-year-old Keith Westhaver. The Press-Enterprise reports that the fatal motorcycle accident happened on the Highway 138 the morning of September 20, 2011 when the Honda motorcycle was struck by a Ford Expedition SUV that was making a U-turn. Westhaver was thrown off his motorcycle and died from his injuries. Officials said the driver of the SUV made the U-turn to avoid slowing traffic ahead and ended up hitting the oncoming motorcyclist.

Cheryl S. Hightower Auto AccidentA 65-year-old motorcyclist who was fatally injured in a car accident in San Bernardino has been identified as Cheryl S. Hightower. The Press-Enterprise reports that the fatal motorcycle happened the morning of August 31, 2011 at the intersection of North Shore and Greenway drives in Big Bear City. Officials say Walter B. Campbell, the driver of a Jeep Cherokee, ran a stop sign and struck Hightower's 1997 Harley Davidson Dyna FXD. No arrests have been made pending an official investigation.

Jon Boehning Auto CollisionA car accident in Riverside involving a suspected drunk driver proved fatal for 47-year-old Jon Boehning the afternoon of August 14, 2011. The Press-Enterprise reports that the fatal motorcycle accident happened at Clinton Keith Road and Palomar Street in Wildomar. Boehning's motorcycle was hit by a pickup truck driven by 30-year-old Jose Lujan. Boehning died from his injuries. Lujan has been arrested on suspicion of felony DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter.
