Orange County Hit-and-Run Crash Injures Man

A hit-and-run crash on an Orange County freeway the morning of August 6, 2010, caused injuries to a motorcyclist. The Orange County Register reports that the injury crash occurred when the motorcyclist was struck by a large commercial truck on the southbound 405 freeway near the 73 Freeway onramp. The truck that hit the motorcyclist did not stop and left the scene of the accident. It is not clear how badly the motorcyclist was injured. An investigation is underway.

She left the scene of the accident, but was apprehended and arrested soon afterward. Bordelon was booked on suspicion of felony hit-and run. An investigation is ongoing.

A hit-and-run crash in Los Angeles left a motorcyclist with major injuries the night of May 22, 2010. The San Gabriel Valley Tribune reports that the collision occurred at the intersection of Hacienda and Valley boulevards in the City of Industry when a driver later identified as 39-year-old Mario Dominguez, made a left turn in front of the motorcyclist. Dominguez then fled the scene of the crash, but was arrested shortly thereafter. He has also been charged with felony hit-and-run. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with broken bones and internal injuries.

Police in Carson have arrested a man in connection with a fatal bicycle accidents in that city, CBS News reports. Police arrested 40-year-old William Keith Square on suspicion of driving under the influence, vehicular manslaughter and hit-and-run after he reportedly struck the man on the bicycle with his SUV the night of April 17, 2010 at the intersection of Santa Fe Avenue and East 218th Place. Officials say Square fled the scene, but was arrested shortly afterwards. The victim succumbed to his injuries after he was taken to an area hospital.

According to a news report in the Los Angeles Times, Perez was crossing Alameda Street in downtown Los Angeles early morning on March 29, 2010, when he was struck by a vehicle and dragged several feet.

Police describe the vehicle that hit Perez then, fled the scene of the crash, as a dark-colored 2005 or 2006 Infiniti G 35 sedan. Officials also say that the hit-and-run vehicle left a trail of debris on the roadway, which is how they were able to determine the make and model of the vehicle. Officials in Anaheim have arrested a 24-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run in connection with an Orange County car accident, which left a toddler injured. The Orange County Register reports that the collision occurred in the 700 block of Anaheim Boulevard the afternoon of March 16, 2010 when the father of the child parked his car and placed the boy on the sidewalk. The 2-year-old then walked on to the street and was hit by a Ford F-450. The boy sustained head injuries, but the driver of the pickup truck kept going. Authorities say the pickup truck driver fled the scene in spite of knowing that he had struck a person.
