The Monrovia Patch reports that the injury hit-and-run collision occurred the evening of January 9, 2012 near Violet Avenue and Foothill Boulevard in Monrovia. Tetu was apparently struck from behind by a vehicle. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The driver fled the scene of the crash, but turned himself in to authorities an hour later.
