A motorcycle accident in Oakland proved fatal for a 40-year-old man the afternoon of July 4, 2010. The Contra Costa Times reports that the fatal crash occurred at the intersection of West Grand Avenue and Magnolia Street. Another car driven by a 31-year-old man was attempting a left turn at the intersection when the car and the motorcycle collided. The motorcyclist was fatally injured.
