Pedestrian Injured in San Diego Car Accident
A 26-year-old man sustained serious injuries in a San Diego car accident after he was hit by a vehicle, outside a Chula Vista restaurant. 10News reports that the incident occurred early morning on February 11, 2010 when the man, who was standing in the parking lot outside the Agave Grill, was struck down by a red, 1990s model Chevrolet Camaro. The driver fled the scene of the collision. The victim got up and went home because he felt fine at the time. But officials say several hours later he did not feel well and was taken to the hospital where it was discovered that he had sustained head injuries and internal bleeding as a result of the crash.
