Boy On Bicycle Killed in San Bernardino Car Accident
Authorities have identified a 12-year-old boy who was killed in a Riverside car accident on October 26, 2009, as Randy Vargas, The Press Enterprise reports. Randy was riding his bicycle along Jarvis Street between Perris and Lake Elsinore when he was struck by a white Toyota pickup struck. Randy was taken to an area hospital and later transferred to a San Bernardino hospital where he died the morning after the accident.

Six injuries involving bicycle accidents were reported in Perris, California, according to California Highway Patrol's 2007 traffic accident statistics. Countywide in Riverside, bicycle accidents claimed eight lives and injured 325 people in 2007.
